Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient preparation and instrument setup for braces and Invisalign procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure optimal patient safety
• Document patient records accurately and update treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices specific to orthodontic care
• Manage inventory of orthodontic supplies and ensure timely restocking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• Experience in orthodontic settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of braces and Invisalign protocols
• Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic appliance handling
• Infection control and sterilization techniques
• Dental radiography basics
• Electronic dental record (EDR) software
• Team collaboration and patient education
