Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and credentialing partners
  • Administer reports in external database portals, analyze data, and present findings
  • Assist with oversight of delegated and non‑delegated provider and facility data
  • Gather, analyze, and report provider data to internal and external customers
  • Evaluate practitioners and facilities upon entry into the network and conduct ongoing reviews
  • Identify improvement opportunities through audit processes and provide recommendations
  • Track, report, and follow up on credentialing application status
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of provider credentials and personal information
  • Support miscellaneous audit projects throughout the year
  • Communicate credentialing delays or issues to the Credentialing Manager

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of managed care or credentialing analyst experience
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or administration
  • Proficiency in Adobe Pro, Microsoft Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Experience with CAQH, Texas Association of Health Plans, NCQA accreditation, Aperture, or NPDB (highly preferred)
  • NAMSS certification (highly preferred)
  • Ability to work remotely with high‑speed internet and secure environment
  • Own home‑office setup: two monitors, keyboard, mouse, and webcam

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or administration

Knowledge & Skills

  • Credentialing analysis and audit oversight
  • Provider data management and reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, complex functions)
  • Interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
  • Problem solving and initiative taking
  • Deadline and time‑management in fast‑paced settings
  • Team collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local managed‑care statutes
  • Familiarity with NCQA accreditation standards
