Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, compassionate care to residents, including help with daily activities.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety and comfort.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in condition, notifying nursing staff promptly.
- Support residents at mealtimes with feeding assistance and hydration.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment following infection control guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to enhance quality of life.
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
- Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
- Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is preferred
- Must pass a background check and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist residents with physical tasks
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care standards and safety protocols
- Skill in monitoring vital signs and documenting accurately
- Ability to follow care plans and shift instructions with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, respectful approach
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
- Team player who works well under supervision and independently
