Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with daily living activities such as feeding, mobility, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• BLS/CPR certification is a plus
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
