Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff promptly
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with residents and families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• COVID-19 vaccination documented or a religious/medical exemption on file
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently

• Knowledge of resident care principles and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Empathy and patience when caring for others
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
