Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with residents and families
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
- Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
- COVID-19 vaccination documented or a religious/medical exemption on file
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care principles and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Empathy and patience when caring for others
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
