Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with meals and feeding, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Document care provided accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable team player
• Ability to pass a background check and meet facility requirements
• COVID-19 vaccinated or willing to provide a documented exemption

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents safely
• Attention to detail in documenting care
• Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
