Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately
• Report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Document care provided and observations in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
