Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support residents with meals and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
• Document care provided accurately and promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to deliver personalized care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain before starting)
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical/religious exemption
• Ability to provide state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to think on your feet

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of resident care and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using electronic health records and basic computer skills
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
