Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support residents with mobility, transferring, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Assist with meals and monitor food intake, promoting hydration and nutrition
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents
• Document care provided and communicate with the care team to deliver personalized attention

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Compassion and patience when caring for others
• Ability to work per diem shifts as scheduled
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Skill in observing and reporting changes in health status
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident confidentiality
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting and transferring residents
