Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting changes in patient condition
- Provide compassionate personal care while maintaining patient dignity and privacy
- Support nurses by preparing rooms, assisting with patient transfers, and documenting care
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care
- Help with light documentation and charting to keep patient records accurate
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain quickly
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program
- Compliance with state required health screenings and TB testing
- Background check and immunization records as required by facility
- Previous patient care experience preferred, new CNAs with strong training are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and bedside manner skills
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
- Basic wound care and safe patient transfer techniques
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
