Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varied days, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility in a respectful manner
Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions accurately and timely
Maintain clear, concise documentation and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and fall prevention efforts
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs with professionalism
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy standards at all times

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Current state CNA listing or eligibility to be listed in Pennsylvania
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist colleagues
