Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Support patient mobility and safety, using proper body mechanics and assistance devices
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and feeding with dignity
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies for patient care
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that improves resident experience

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Certification or eligibility to work in Pennsylvania preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned night shifts

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and maintaining patient comfort
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Competent in taking and documenting vital signs
• Familiarity with basic EMR/charting or willingness to learn
• Teamwork-oriented with good observational and reporting skills
