Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Varied days, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility in a respectful manner
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions accurately and timely
- Maintain clear, concise documentation and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and fall prevention efforts
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs with professionalism
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy standards at all times
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current state CNA listing or eligibility to be listed in Pennsylvania
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and work as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
- Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist colleagues
