Location: Florence, AL
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (per diem)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and toileting
- Assist nursing staff with vital signs, mobility, and activities of daily living
- Document patient observations accurately and communicate changes promptly
- Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control protocols
- Build trusting relationships with patients and families to enhance comfort and dignity
- Assist with timely, respectful patient transfers and positioning
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Alabama (required)
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous experience as a CNA in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in ADL assistance and safe patient handling
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and basic observations
- Knowledge of infection prevention and standard precautions
- Good charting practices and timely communication with the care team
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to prioritize patient comfort
