Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with routine tasks and follow care plans accurately
- Observe and document patient status and report changes to the care team
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
- Communicate respectfully with residents and families to support quality care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Valid state-required credentials and ability to work in Alabama
- Comfortable working day shift hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and basic nursing assistance
- Ability to document observations and follow care plans
- Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
