Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and assistance to residents
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Document care provided accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Must bring state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or hold an approved religious/medical exemption
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred but not required
• Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to resident needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a care team
• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control
• Excellent observational skills to notice changes in residents' conditions
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
