Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Shift 2, 2:00 PM - 2:15 PM, with a 30-minute meal break
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care and assistance to residents
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Document care provided accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
- Must bring state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
- Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or hold an approved religious/medical exemption
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred but not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to resident needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a care team
- Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control
- Excellent observational skills to notice changes in residents' conditions
- Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
