Shift Type: As needed per diem shifts, Shift 2 (2:00 PM - 2:15 PM)
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs, and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Support residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation to promote emotional well-being
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff
- Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and standing for extended periods
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
- Skill in using vital signs monitoring equipment
- Understanding of HIPAA and resident confidentiality
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Interpersonal skills for engaging with residents, families, and staff
