Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs accurately, alerting nursing staff to any changes
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes dignity and comfort
• Support nurses by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Document patient observations and communicate effectively with the care team
• Mobilize and transfer patients safely, ensuring their comfort and well-being

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Georgia
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Strong communication skills and a caring, compassionate attitude
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Prior CNA experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Empathy and patience when caring for patients and families
• Teamwork and collaboration with nursing staff and other departments
