Location: Columbus, Georgia
Start Date: 08-14-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 12.5-hour shifts (schedule varies)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs accurately, alerting nursing staff to any changes
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes dignity and comfort
- Support nurses by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Document patient observations and communicate effectively with the care team
- Mobilize and transfer patients safely, ensuring their comfort and well-being
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Georgia
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills and a caring, compassionate attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior CNA experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Empathy and patience when caring for patients and families
- Teamwork and collaboration with nursing staff and other departments
