Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 6:30 PM - 6:30 PM Night (AP shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and residents
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Follow individualized care plans and document care accurately
Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
Collaborate with colleagues and communicate clearly with families

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification or state equivalent (must be active and in good standing)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient mobility
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance
Proficient with basic vital sign measurement and reporting
Knowledgeable about infection control and patient safety principles
Able to document care clearly and accurately in clinical records
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and observational skills
