Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
Safely transfer and ambulate patients, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Provide compassionate bedside care while preserving patient dignity and comfort
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with nurses and providers
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Comfortable working 12+ hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM per this posting)
Ability to follow care plans, document observations, and communicate clearly
Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a patient-first mindset
Willingness to complete facility onboarding and mandatory trainings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Vital signs collection and basic clinical observations
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Basic charting and following documentation procedures
Infection control principles and safe hygiene practices
Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
