Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / As-needed, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, preserving dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with patience and respect
Monitor and record vital signs and patient status accurately and timely
Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team and document care clearly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful care environment
Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work overnight/12+ hour shifts and a flexible per-diem schedule
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility policies

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care skills: ADLs, transfers, ambulation assistance
Basic clinical skills: taking and recording vitals, observing changes in condition
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Accurate documentation and basic charting/EHR familiarity
Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize under pressure
Comfort working overnight hours and supporting a varied patient population
