Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote resident independence
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans with attention to detail
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe care environment
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team
• Respond calmly and professionally in urgent situations and escalate concerns when needed

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work overnight shifts and remain alert and patient-centered
• Current immunizations and TB test per facility policy
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the Albuquerque facility for shifts
• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Infection control and proper PPE usage
• Clear, compassionate communication and documentation skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
