Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot GE Innova imaging equipment and other cath lab systems
• Prepare patients, equipment, and instruments for procedures including stent placement and balloon angioplasty
• Perform and support specialized procedures such as cerebellar angiograms and ENT lab cases
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Meditech and MacLab
• Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, and the cath lab team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Respond to on-call requests promptly and adapt to the unit’s needs during high-acuity events
• Maintain inventory, ensure equipment readiness, and follow unit dress/scrub policies

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS required
• ARRT required
• RCIS preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or related interventional setting
• Competency with GE Innova and Special Procedures as listed in the hiring profile
• Demonstrated scrubbing and sterile technique skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, close-knit team and to respond to frequent on-call needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with GE Innova imaging systems
• Experience using Meditech and MacLab for documentation
• Strong scrubbing and instrument handling skills
• Familiarity with stent placement and balloon angioplasty procedures
• Knowledge of cerebellar angiograms and ENT lab procedures
• Critical thinking, patient-focused care, and strong teamwork
• Ability to adapt to on-call rotations and variable case volumes
