Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and interventions
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Connecticut
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent ED experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
