Roles & Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to improve patient quality of life
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy approaches based on outcomes and observations
Maintain accurate, timely documentation so care teams stay informed and compliant
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families to support engagement and carryover
