Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress clearly and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident-centered goals
• Communicate with families and caregivers about therapy plans and progress
• Support FMLA-related documentation and processes as needed
• Participate in clinical meetings, care planning, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Certified SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• 1-3 years of clinical experience (as listed in the job posting)
• Comfort working in a skilled nursing facility environment
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Willingness to float as required by the facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in SLP assessment and treatment techniques
• Familiarity with FMLA processes and related documentation
• Excellent clinical documentation and care planning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing and rehab teams
• Time management and caseload prioritization in a SNF setting
