Shift Type: Option 1: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day). Option 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day). No call required.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based anesthesia care in procedural areas including GI lab, EP/Cath lab, and radiology
- Manage ventilation and airway interventions for teens through geriatric patients
- Deliver procedural anesthesia for adult general surgical and neuroradiology cases as needed
- Coordinate care with RN, techs, physician providers, and OR aides to ensure smooth patient flow
- Document anesthesia care thoroughly and maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control
- Adapt to a Level 1 trauma environment and collaborate effectively during high-acuity situations
- Adhere to hospital policies and contribute to a positive, professional team culture
Qualifications
- Active CRNA certification and current state licensure in Texas, or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Demonstrated experience in procedural anesthesia, ventilation management, and adult general surgical cases
- Comfort working in GI lab, EP/Cath lab, and radiology procedural settings; cardiac/heart cases are excluded
- Experience with Level 1 trauma settings is a plus
- Must be credentialed prior to start (estimated credentialing timeframe 45-60 days); new graduates will not be considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology, physiology, and airway management
- Skilled in ventilation management and intra-procedural patient monitoring
- Familiarity with procedural anesthesia workflows in GI, EP/Cath, and radiology settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills when working with RNs, techs, and physicians
- Ability to triage and respond in a high-acuity, trauma Level 1 environment
- Detail-oriented documentation and adherence to safety protocols
