Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic exams across adult and pediatric populations, including chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremities
• Operate portable X-ray units and C-arm surgical imaging equipment safely and efficiently in OR/ED/ICU settings
• Conduct fluoroscopy and enema/barium studies, including contrast preparation and administration when required
• Accurately document exams and findings in Epic and route images through PACS for timely clinical decision making
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical teams to support procedures and patient care with professionalism and calm under pressure
• Maintain equipment, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Oregon state radiography license (required)
• ARRT (R) certification preferred
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred or willing to obtain
• BLS certification (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a large acute care hospital or similar environment
• Comfortable working in ED, ICU, OR and surgical/mobile imaging settings
• Demonstrated ability to perform enema/barium studies and a variety of fluoroscopic procedures
• Familiarity with Epic charting and PACS image systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography / X-Ray (chest, abdomen/GI, spine, pelvis, extremities)
• Fluoroscopy and contrast media preparation/administration
• C-Arm and surgical imaging; portable X-ray expertise
• PACS image management and Epic charting workflow
• Experience with GE, Philips, and Carestream imaging equipment
• Pediatric and adult imaging practices and safety
• Strong infection control, patient positioning, and radiation safety practices
