Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to capture high-quality images
• Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy
• Provide imaging services in the emergency department, inpatient units, and operating rooms
• Assist with student training and competency check-offs at Grady
• Float to other departments as needed to support patient care
• Maintain equipment and safety standards
• Document imaging findings in EPIC and Sectra EMR

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program
• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed Level 2 trauma facility
• Comfortable working in ED, inpatient, portable, and OR settings
• Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging
