Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental impressions and records
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow‑up care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in orthodontics
• Strong knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and appliance management
• Dental radiography and image interpretation
• Sterilization protocols and infection control
• Patient care and comfort techniques
• Team collaboration and workflow coordination
