Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment is ready and sterile
Assist surgical team during operations, passing instruments and maintaining the sterile field
Ensure all instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and organized
Monitor patient vital signs and assist with positioning for optimal surgical access
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for efficient workflow

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of experience in CVOR preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Physical stamina to stand for long periods
Positive attitude with a commitment to patient safety
