Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Manage ventilators (Puritan Bennett 840) and high flow nasal cannula
• Perform EKGs, ABGs, breathing treatments, chest vests, and Vapotherm
• Assist with bronchoscopies and airway management
• Work collaboratively with a 24/7 charge RT and intensivist team
• Document patient care in Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RRT or CRT credential
• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
• Travel experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Proficiency with bronchoscopy procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management and troubleshooting
• Neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care
• Cerner EMR proficiency
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to float and adapt to different units
