Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients, ensuring smooth recoveries
- Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to needs, keeping little ones safe and comfortable
- Collaborate with surgeons and teams to deliver top-notch care in a specialized setting
- Educate families with compassion, easing their worries during critical moments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington or compact state
- Pediatric nursing experience, especially in PACU or recovery
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Commitment to pediatric patient care
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment skills for post-op pediatric patients
- Knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols
- Excellent communication with kids and families
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced recovery unit
