Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to pediatric med/surg patients
- Monitor vital signs and administer treatments with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
- Advocate for young patients and their families daily
- Maintain accurate records and ensure safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Pediatric med/surg nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong passion for working with children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- RN licensure from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric assessment and intervention techniques
- Medication administration and IV skills
- Family-centered care approaches
- Electronic health record proficiency
- Crisis management in pediatric settings
