Location: Pendleton, OR

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
Titrate and manage critical drips such as Pitocin, insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure safe, patient-centered care
Adapt quickly to changing patient loads and acuity levels
Serve as a resource and charge nurse as needed

Qualifications

Valid Oregon RN license or eligibility for 90-day emergency license
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in L&D, Postpartum, and Nursery
Proficiency in titrating Pitocin, insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
Strong independent decision-making skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines
Fetal monitoring interpretation
Neonatal resuscitation
Team collaboration
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
