Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy and patient care following physician orders and hospital policies
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures
• Evaluate patient response to therapy and take corrective action
• Provide education to patients and staff on respiratory procedures and equipment
• Maintain equipment through routine checks and service
• Document and report patient care and equipment usage

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience
• Proficiency with ventilator, bipap, ICU, ER, and ABG procedures
• ACLS certification preferred
• Valid Michigan state respiratory therapy license
• Strong patient care and communication skills
