Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with respiratory disorders
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators for patients requiring life support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Provide patients and families with education to support ongoing respiratory health
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Ohio
• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) credential
• BLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexibly in a per diem capacity

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, equipment, and ventilator management
• Ability to interpret patient data and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and families
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation practices
