Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with attention to detail
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document clinical findings
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and update care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure thorough handoffs
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license (active) — state licensure required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications a plus
- Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
- Medication administration and IV therapy
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation
- Patient and family education
- Team collaboration, time management, and prioritization
