Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients on a 30-bed telemetry unit specializing in ortho-neuro
• Monitor telemetry and EKG readings to detect changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC system

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with EKG monitoring and EPIC documentation
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Orthopedic and neurological patient care
• EPIC electronic health record proficiency
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
