Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible 12-hour shifts, days or nights as needed (Per Diem)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-support interventions per protocol
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists
- Support and educate families during some of life's most challenging moments
- Document patient progress and communicate changes in condition with clarity and precision
- Advocate for the unique needs of each child and ensure a safe, healing environment
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Massachusetts (or compact state eligibility)
- PICU or pediatric critical care experience preferred
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric assessment and critical care knowledge
- Medication administration and IV therapy
- Comfort with ventilators, monitors, and life-support equipment
- Family-centered communication
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Team collaboration and clear documentation
