Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
- Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and other medications with precision and care
- Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patients with diverse needs from general medicine to post-surgical recovery
- Collaborate with dedicated charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while maintaining excellent clinical standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
- Comfortable with cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and ativan titration
- Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac drip management and titration skills
- Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities within a 60-mile zone
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient acuities and unit needs
- Comfort working with adult and geriatric populations across diverse diagnoses
