Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Inpatient Rehab/Acute Care
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Start Date: 08-24-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Days (flexible start times), weekend rotation approximately 3 per quarter
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients on the inpatient rehab and acute care units
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain an average caseload of 12 patients on the rehab unit
- Co-treat with Physical Therapist Assistants in acute care settings as needed
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Current NBCOT certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Valid Oklahoma state license or willingness to obtain
- Recent traveler experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
- Ability to work in both inpatient rehab and acute care settings
- Comfortable with co-treatment models and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent documentation and time management skills
