Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of each patient
• Plan and implement nursing care tailored to patient and family needs
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient conditions
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions and adjust care plans
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, and a safe environment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards
• Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to foster patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience
• Current TNCC or ENPC certification required
• Ability to work every other weekend and flexible shift options
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing and the nursing process
• Proficiency with ER-specific skills (e.g., trauma assessment, rapid response)
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to dynamic patient and unit needs
