Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition promptly
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Maintain accurate and timely electronic charting and handoffs

Qualifications

Active RN license in New Hampshire or RN compact licensure as applicable
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications as required by facility
Prior Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to stand, walk, and safely assist patients throughout a 12.5-hour shift

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and protocols
Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy
Competent in patient assessment, vital signs, and documentation
Familiar with electronic medical record charting and reporting
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a varied patient load
Team-oriented approach with effective communication skills
