Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients in a Med/Surg setting
• Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and recovery
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Experience or strong interest in Med/Surg and Pediatric nursing
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Compassionate, adaptable, and ready to jump in where needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of pediatric growth and development
• Comfort with Med/Surg equipment and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced situations
• Proficiency with electronic health records
