Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team
• Educate patients and families on conditions and recovery plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and a safe patient environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting

• Patient assessment and monitoring

• Care planning and accurate documentation
