Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety during all interventions
• Assist with a wide range of procedures including chemo embolizations, Y-90 therapies, IVC filter placements, angiograms, CT biopsies, ablations, and more
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Level I trauma center to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, passing the SIMs Lab on day one

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Arizona or compact state required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of IR experience with strong neuro IR background
• Level I trauma experience is mandatory
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and demonstrate sterile field competency
• Reliable transportation and compliance with facility appearance standards (natural hair color, no facial piercings, clean shaven for fit test)

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of interventional radiology procedures including neuro endovascular and body IR
• Proficiency in trauma care, critical care, and telemetry
• Skilled in using Cerner EMR
• Expertise in sterile field maintenance and central line care
