Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpret vital signs and lab results
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge needs
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1-2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices
• Proficiency in using medical equipment such as ventilators, IV pumps, and monitors
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
• Excellent documentation and EHR skills
