Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during adjustments, braces installations, and other procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Take dental X-rays and impressions with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and braces care to promote long-term dental health
• Maintain accurate patient records and support the clinical team with organized documentation
• Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients of all ages

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or relevant certification is a plus
• Experience in orthodontic or dental settings preferred
• X-ray certification or willingness to obtain it
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and orthodontic tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail for taking X-rays and creating impressions
• A gentle, patient-centered approach that puts people at ease
• Effective collaboration and organizational skills to support the dental team
