Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (06:30-18:30 or 18:30-06:30), every other weekend, holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis
Titrate and manage continuous intravenous drips such as cardiac and sedation medications
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips using GE monitors
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including respiratory therapy and nurse aides
Float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed with appropriate patient ratios

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required for radius rule verification
Experience with titration of drips and telemetry interpretation
Ability to float to other units

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
Proficient in GE monitor interpretation
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to varying patient acuity and unit needs
